- Bachelor of Music from Utah State University, 2009
- Emphasis in Instrumental Pedagogy
- Studied oboe as primary instrument with Bonnie Schroeder
- Performed as Principle oboist for the top ensembles in the University and the Cache Valley community
- Played 2nd oboe for professional orchestras--Orchestra at Temple Square and American Festival Orchestra
- Studied piano as secondary instrument with Dr. Dianne Hardy, as well as other accomplished teachers
- Took Piano Pedagogy classes from Prof. Gary Amano
- Studied accompanying on the piano with Dr. Frank Chiou
- Member of NFMC
